Corryville Catholic School’s instructional program is based on the State approved Graded Course of Study provided by the Education Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
Academic skills are presented. The emphasis is on developing social, emotional, mental, and physical skills through varied and stimulating experiences.
The main focus of these years is learning to read. Students acquire basic skills in reading, writing and mathematics.
The main focus of these years is reading to learn. The language arts program supports the integration of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
Students continue developing skills and understanding in the core subjects. Classes are departmentalized.
Religious education is the essence of Catholic schools. Through instruction in Catholic doctrine and Christian living, the school aims to assist parents in their task of fostering the moral and religious development of their children. Religion classes are required for all students enrolled in the school.

Homework is an extension of class work and is assigned to reinforce the understanding of the material taught in class.
Students need to complete assignments accurately, promptly and neatly. Students should spend time everyday on homework and/or reading.

Two Notre Dame Ameri-Corps volunteer tutors
Reading tutors who volunteer in excess of 2,000 hours each year
Corryville Catholic School provides our Kindergarten-Eighth graders with a technological education that makes use of the most effective tools so students will be prepared for living a Christian life in the 21st century.
Technology education is used in connection with and to enhance the Graded Course of Study of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, “Growing Together”.
Students and teachers follow technology strategies by grade level as dictated by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Catholic Schools and Ohio Technology Standards and Competencies.
All grade level classrooms have a Smart board.
Grades 3-8 have chrome book carts.
Grades 1-8 use the Accelerated Reader program frequently.
K-5 can access their Journeys Reading series components on-line.
We use Moby Max and Flocabulary to enhance our academic skills.
